Al-Doha Rice — Multi-Variant Packaging Color Separation
The Challenge
Al-Doha needed consistent color reproduction across 3 rice product lines (Egyptian White, Jasmine, and Golden Rice), each with unique packaging designs but requiring brand consistency on the same press run.
The Solution
We performed CMYK separation with custom halftone generation for each variant. Plates were manufactured with Flat-top dot technology, and trapping was carefully applied to compensate for registration shifts across the 3-SKU run.
The Result
All 3 variants achieved 98% color match to the approved proofs. Brand blue tones were consistent across SKUs, and material waste was reduced by 40% through optimized plate setup and press fingerprinting.

We applied advanced spot color separation for each variant, using 2540 DPI CTP imaging to capture fine food details. Print-ready files were prepared with precise trapping and overprinting for seamless press runs.
